May 22 2011 in Joplin Mo,

On May 22 2011 Joplin Mo, was hit by an F5 tornado. The tornado Killed over 130 people and leaving too many people homeless. The destruction that it caused is unreal. Something I have seen with my own eyes. Something I will never forget. This is a storm that pictures can not do it justice.

A few facts about the " Monster Tornado"
Death Toll as of June 2nd was 138 people.
Size of the Tornado is much larger than first reported. 14 miles range.
Storm damage could reach $3 Billion.
Deadliest Tornado in almost 60 years.
8th Deadliest on Record.
The Tornado hit just before 5:41 pm on May 22nd.
The Winds of this storm were greater than 200 miles per hour.
Over 750 people were injured.
Many homeless.
